Goodbye 2023
Bidding farewell to the year.
It’s been a funny old year, this year. Still feeling the final wisps of the chaos that ensued in 2020 and finding our creative feet again in the years that followed, 2023 has so far been the biggest leap of faith for SyrensStudio.
In the early months, we made new connections through old friends, and we attended a group shoot in Wollaton Park, Nottingham, for a delightful fantasy themed shoot to get the cogs whirring again after a Christmas slump. As the months passed, we attended many 1940’s events and of course our camera came with us for the ride, getting some rather lovely candid photos of those in attendance at the various locations across the country.
Towards the end of this year, we were fortunate to make an extremely valuable connection with Nancy, who has undertaken an influencer contract with us, and we have gained her as a truly wonderful friend as well as a client. We definitely feel we’ve won the creative lottery with Nancy, you’ll not meet a more vivacious character as she, bringing both the sass and the class to every shoot.
Exciting investments were made towards new kit, including a new lighting and backdrop set up for a home studio here in the heart of Leicestershire, meaning we are now able to offer those all important headshots for both actors and professionals alike. Or if you just feel like updating your Facebook photo to something more impactful and meaningful than the latest trending meme.
Our Autumn mini shoots really took off and saw an increase in our Instagram follower base so thank you all for the shares on those, they really help get our name out there! And to top it all off, we booked our first official named wedding set to happen mid 2024 and we are truly honoured to be a part of the happy couple’s special day.
We want to round this post off by saying thank you to all that have booked us, shared our posts, liked our photos and joined us in the launch of this shiny new website in 2023. We have so much planned for this coming year and in those that follow so keep your eyes peeled for regular updates. It’s all so exciting!
